RE :     UNIT TAKSIRAN KENDERAAN IMPORT, PELABUHAN BARAT

Please be informed that the “Unit Taksiran Kenderaan Import” (Evaluation Unit for Imported Cars,  at Westport) would be operating effective 6 October, 2008.  The location of the unit would be as below:-

For all new imported cars and used cars which had been discharge at Westport (B18),   evaluation,  duty  payment ,  the release of K1 and K8 had to be done at the Evaluation department for Imported cars (Westport).

For all new imported cars and used cars which had been discharge at Northport  (B10),   evaluation,  duty  payment ,  the release of K1 and K8 had to be done at the Evaluation department for Imported cars, Northport  (as present practice)

For imported cars that are kept in the “Gudang Berlesen Awam/PEKEMA”  evaluation,  duty  payment ,  the release of K1 had to be done at the Evaluation department for Imported cars, Northport  (as present practice)

For AP and Manifest on the all imported new cars and used cars checking on the status,  the venue remain the same (Unit Kawalan Manifes), Northport
