| Increase in forwarding fee July 24, 2006
SFFLA wishes to announce that there will be an increase in the forwarding charges with effect from 1st August, 2006.
This increase was tabled by members during the 33rd AGM held on 25th May, 2006 seeking a revision on current forwarding fees to cover the escalating operational costs over the past few years.
The increase will be RM 30.00/ container and RM 30/ LCL shipment.

| MITI expects 7% growth in manufacturing July 25, 2006
Malaysia's manufacturing sector is expected to grow by 7 % this year, on the back of resilient domestic and global demand, compared with 4.9 % in 2005, said the Minister of International Trade and Industry, Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz, at the release of the (MITI) Report 2005, on Tuesday.

| MAEI forecasts 9% growth in exports July 19, 2006
The Malaysian American Electronics Industry (MAEI) has projected a 9% growth in exports this year, to reach RM72 billion from RM66 billion recorded last year. The growth is driven by the continuous robust global demand for digital equipment and wireless communication devices.
