W.e.f 02/03/2015 – All type of customs declarations and permits for the importation and exportation of goods from / to China that have previously used “Perintah Duti Kastam (PDK)” 2012 would have to use AHTN Tariff Code 2012 which involves change from 9-digit to 10-digit
– Improvements to your system is required to enable the implementation of respective AHTN Tariff Code 2012 for all trade transaction to / from China

W.e.f. 01/02/2015 – Maqis request the Presence of Importer & Fwdg Agent to be present
for the Physical Inspection of the Import consignment.

Terminal Operators have EXTENDED the ‘Closing Time’ for Export & ‘Free Storage
Period’ for Imports to assist Port Users till 30/04/2015 until the fly over construction
work at Jalan Pelabuhan, Port Klang have been completed.

W.e.f. 12/01/2015 – Haulier must inform Fwdg Agent when container/cargo are Detain
for Physical Examination at Exit Gate of Free Zone, Northport. Must contact
Investigation Unit (KPM) and to refer to the Time Frame given for Inspection &
Release of unit. Physical Examination during Weekdays from 0830am-1800pm.
(Remark: any container/cargo detain during Sat / Sun / P.Holiday to defer to
next working day).

Directive – all containers/cargoes using K8 or Excise 8 forms entering Free Zone (KPM)
are to stop for Inspection at the Entry Gate to ensure Seal is Intact. A compound of
RM5,000.00 will be imposed on those not compliant.
